About Enactus
What does Enactus stand for?
Enactus is the abbreviation for Entrepreneurial Action for others creates a better world for Us all. Enactus is an international non-profit organization founded in 1975 in the United States. The foundation aims to start sustainable companies that make a better world possible for all of us. Enactus offers a platform for more than 70,000 university students in 37 countries working together for a better world for us all. With the help of the business community and academics, students’ ideas are converted into sustainable companies. Examples of companies that support Enactus are KPMG, Unilever, Randstad, ORMIT, Delta Lloyd and Rabobank.

From May 2017 we started setting up Enactus Wageningen.

How much time does a function in a project cost per week?
Between 6 and 8 hours.

How much time does a board function cost per week?
Between 15 and 20 hours.

What does a function with an Enactus project offer you?
As an entrepreneur you develop together with a group of a few students from different studies a social enterprise in the surroundings of Wageningen. The board, the partner companies and the WUR support you through workshops and training. You get the chance to make an impact on your immediate environment, you gain experience with entrepreneurship and you can develop on both a professional and personal level.
